Letting inspiration guide the way has yet to let me down. I work hard by day to create designs for The National Renewable Energy Laboratory towards a sustainable energy future, and work hard by night to create designs for local businesses that I support. It wasn’t hard to choose this career path. Since childhood I’ve collaged magazines and sketched on the backs of napkins, design was simply the next step. It’s a blessing and a curse really, to be hyper aware of good design means to be hyper aware of bad design as well. There are new lessons learned everyday just by interacting with the world around us.

I feel fortunate to live in a time where this type of career and technology is not only possible, but highly valued.
